Conscious Learning/Books

Conscious Book Study

It takes time to learn years of condensed knowledge, WE can learn it faster

WE will be learning consciously and using the knowledge more effectively

We will unpack our beliefs and start to understand our blocks to learning or taking action and dissolve them

WE DONT JUST READ THE BOOK
WE DO THE WORK

activate distilled knowledge

YOURS : THE AUTHORS

Reading Consciously what is that?

Why is it important?  press this  link to my blog
This is CONSCIOUS LEARNING,  studying the author and ourselves at the same time.
We look at the authors beliefs, and contrast them to our own.
We are choosing to see how our beliefs about this subject impact the skills we learn and the actions we take in life.
This is a slow way to read books and a fast way to learn knowledge and skills to change our lives.

What valuable knowledge you want to learn?

SUGGEST A BOOK - call me if you have a book suggestion

We can own our beliefs OR we can transform them

If you want to learn about finance its likely your beliefs may be different from the authors , when our subconscious beliefs align with our conscious  beliefs  we stop arguing with our selves and just get on with our lives.
We may  have conflicting conscious beliefs for instance maybe I want to have financial abundance at the same time I may  believe that I have to help anyone who has less money than myself.  This is likely to be challenging it would be helpful for these beliefs to come into relationship with type of life you want to live.

The reason you haven’t reached your goal is because parts of you are in conflict

We will be sharing and discussing in group, each person decides for themselves which beliefs they are interested in working with. We will set the  intent of creating a space of learning which is a space of curiosity. While also  knowing that each time we are challenged and feel uncomfortable, we have an opportunity to learn something more about our selves and our beliefs. It will be a safe space to transform.

we dont just read the book

you were born rich

You were Born Rich

Zig Ziglar may be the master motivator, Mark Victor Hansen of Chicken Soup For the Soul, the master storyteller; Anthony Robbins may be the guru of personal development, but Bob Proctor is the master thinker. When it comes to systematizing life, no oneelse can touch him. He is simply the best. Bob Proctor collects thoughts like Imelda Marcos used to collect shoes. He strings them together in exquisite arrays; one thought leading logically to the next until a whole method has been constructed. In You Were Born Rich, Bob Proctor has done it again, this time taking you step by step to the surprising discovery that success is not always reaching out for something that you don't have but rather only reaching over and rearranging the pieces already there. The great value of this book is that you can instantly apply the conclusions to your own life. It will begin to impact you long before you reach the last chapter

I listened to Bob proctor for a while when the girls were little he starts with seeing your own belief paradigms - his basic unpacking at the start of my journey was really helpful. - Wendy

They are usually the result of unappreciated triggers in our environment--the people and situations that lure us into behaving in a manner diametrically opposed to the colleague, partner, parent, or friend we imagine ourselves to be. These triggers are constant and relentless and omnipresent. So often the environment seems to be outside our control. Even if that is true, as Goldsmith points out, we have a choice in how we respond

Jonathan Livingston Seagull

This bestselling modern classic, reissued with a beautiful new cover design, is a story for people who want to follow their dreams and make their own rules and has inspired people for decades. ‘Most gulls don’t bother to learn more than the simplest facts of flight – how to get from shore to food and back again,’ writes author Richard Bach in this allegory about a unique bird named Jonathan Livingston Seagull. ‘For most gulls it is not flying that matters, but eating. For this gull, though, it was not eating that mattered, but flight.’ Flight is indeed the metaphor that makes this story soar. This bestselling modern classic is a fable about seeking a higher purpose in life, even if your flock, tribe or neighborhood finds your ambition threatening (at one point our beloved gull is even banished from his flock).
