Regenerative thinking is a holistic set of principles  informing the vision and application of projects.  We work with the Earth based systems and people based systems. 

OUR learning is how do we participate in a regenerative way so that the earth and our people  are growing our assets together.

Every part of our city was created from the earth we live on the every item in your house was dug up grown then changed manufactured into the house and products we live in and with. Our bodies are built from the food grown on or in earth , We are the earth ( see blog about we are the clay of the earth)  we are codependent with the land for our survival and the good living  of our people.

We are moving from a using up culture to  flourishing culture where plenty is normal. When the EARTH has plenty so do we, when our people love and share aplenty  of our selves and the earths gifts we gift each other the assets to create our city’s and good lives together. Community wealth.

What systems and skills change for a successful FEEDBACK culture?

Feedback can  encourage or discourage depending on the systems and the culture of your company.
I have worked in 3 multi national businesses over the years, and have seen varied feedback practices.  
Effective feedback , provides opportunities, creates better and more effective solutions. When feedback is “unsafe”, people have less enthusiasm, they become less honest, and productivity and staff satisfaction can go down. 
I have studied two strands of feedback, they involve setting  up safer feedback models and a creating a capable self analysis culture. 
Feedback has many threads, external customer, internal staff the supplier, performance feedback  and internal customer etc.
One of the critical aspects to a good feedback culture is the personal skills of your team to have the critical conversations. To know your clients and how your product is working for them.  To set up systems so relevant information is collected.

Where are the critical decisions made , in the boardroom meeting or the chat at the cafe,  critical conversation sounds dire , however the ability to have critical conversations in awkward circumstances is the gold standard of business management. The ability to create a culture where critical conversations are participated in the good times and bad – a marriage of convivence for some to achieve the project for others to create a better life. At some level a decision is made, what is the critical part?

Critical conversations is a building block  for all programmes. When our colleagues and staff start to avoid the important conversations the project is in trouble, it may under perform or  fold due to avoidance and shrugging of responsibility.  WHAT HAPPENED?
