I believe the key to action is to trust yourself to do your best in an unknown future, this takes guts and self love. I personally have a system where I make a plan, which I know is something I have constructed purely to help me step.
It goes like this
• I look around then I decide what I need to do
• I set up a plan, with this plan I step out to do something,
• When I have stepped, I look around and with the new information gathered I make another plan and I step again.
I am aware that when we collect information for a decisions we cant know everything ,however we get better and better at this so I choose to step and make the mistakes .. however I often research substantially .
This works well when I have an overall goal in mind. It still scares me and that’s ok. I am developing my bravery muscle.
After my marriage split up, I decided I had to figure out how to take actions for my self, and I planned a holiday to Kauaʻi an island of Hawaii. I went to a retreat with Mas Sajady. I went by myself a single woman for 14 days.
It was hard but great for my self esteem. It was scary and I ended up bunking with a couple of kids about 22 years old in a hotel before and after the retreat.
I came back feeling like I am not waiting on someone else to organise my life.
I still prefer to share holidays however I feel safe making large plans – as money allows of course.
