Go Go Go till I crash

This was the pattern of achievement in my family and it took me a few years to realize that was how I achieved my goals, I didn’t crash so much my self, but i needed a lot of sleep on the weekend to catch up. I was permanently tired.

This isn’t sustainable for good health. I had endometriosis and  period pains were more painful than giving birth to my  daughters.

Energy tiredness was normal, I didn’t know how to live differently, I slept really well however I ate a little , I would top my self up with sugar. 

When I worked as a sales and marketing assistant at reed publishing (age 23) a kind manager shared her beliefs with me. If you dont have your health you dont have many options in life

I mulled this over for a while and realised that I wanted to start figuring out my health again. I also started to organise my time at work better so I was taking appropriate breaks.

A lot of people are stressed at work for whatever reason. When we are stressed our bodies are . Our flight and fight responses come online which is Sympathetic mode.

The side affects of fear tension need to be released or relaxed so body comes into balance.

Parasympathetic is healing , rest and digest mode. if we dont have enough of this mode in our life our bodies dont heal. 

Most people have more stress than relaxation. Its important the body gets appropriate amounts of both. 

when we rest our bodies clean up the debris, it systematically goes through its “list ” and cleans up and heals the pieces of you that need attention.  This often produces detox symptons and is why many people get a “cold” when they go on holiday. the body starts defragging it sends out all the excess cells in mucus and other avenues. 

It is helpful to start to understand if you are sick or detoxing.

Detoxing is a helpful process. Its like the dirty dishwater from cleaning and changing your cells. 

We can change our lives by changing our daily habit and also changing how we react to stressful situations.

This can be done in many ways depending on the source of the stress. You can work on the emotional triggers, you can work on behavior change , you can give your self lots of rest to recover. 

 

Today I believe, many diseases are a result of not being able to relax and give the body the space to heal.

Stress is activated by your thoughts

Stress is activated by your thoughts. 

You can change your stories which are your thoughts, This can change your stress levels and you can still achieve wonderful results.
